Raguel then called Tobias and said, “You will certainly not leave here for the next fourteen days. Instead, you will remain here to eat and drink with me, and you will bring joy to my daughter’s troubled soul.
And immediately Raguel commanded his servants, to fill up the pit they had made, before it was day.
He called for Tobias and vowed that he would not let him leave for two weeks. Stay, and we will eat and drink together, he said. It will do my daughter good after her terrible suffering.
He summoned Tobiah and said to him, “For fourteen days you shall not stir from here, but shall remain here eating and drinking with me; you shall bring joy to my daughter’s afflicted spirit.
Then he called Tobiah and swore an oath to him: “You shall not depart from here for fourteen days. Rather, you shall stay here eating and drinking with me, and you shall bring joy to my daughter’s heart after all the suffering she has endured.
Then he called for Tobias and swore on oath to him in these words: ‘You shall not leave here for fourteen days, but shall stay here eating and drinking with me; and you shall cheer up my daughter, who has been depressed.
